What Cookies We Actually Use

We use cookies to keep you logged in and understand how people use Domer. That's basically it.

The Short Version

If you just want the basics:

• 3-4 essential cookies to keep you signed in and track your credits
• 2-3 Google Analytics cookies to see which features people actually use (you can block these)
• Stripe payment cookies only when you're buying credits
• No advertising or social media trackers - we don't do that

Essential Cookies (Can't Turn Off)

These make the site work. Block them and you won't be able to sign in or generate anything.

Without these, Domer just won't work for you. They're not collecting personal data beyond "this person is logged in."

Analytics Cookies (Totally Optional)

We use Google Analytics to figure out what's broken and what people actually want.

What we're trying to learn:

• Did anyone even use that new feature we spent 2 weeks building?
• Is the image generator timing out for some people?
• Should we spend time on video support or fix the mobile layout first?

Specifically:

• Pages visited (helps us prioritize bug fixes)
• Feature usage (tells us what to improve)
• Browser/device info (for compatibility testing)
• Rough location - city level (to optimize server locations)

Not tracking:

• Individual images you create
• Specific text in your prompts
• Who you are outside of "user #12345"

Block them if you want:

• Install uBlock Origin
• Use your browser's built-in tracker blocking
• Get Privacy Badger

Blocking analytics won't break anything. You'll still be able to generate images, buy credits, everything.

Payment Cookies (Stripe)

Only shows up when you're actually buying credits. Stripe uses cookies to:

• Stop fraud (checking if the payment looks sketchy)
• Process your card securely
• Remember your payment method if you check "save card"

We never see your full card number. That all stays with Stripe.

What We Don't Use

No:

• Advertising cookies (we're not showing ads)
• Facebook/Twitter tracking pixels
• Cookies that follow you around the internet
• Marketing emails (unless you explicitly subscribe)

How to Control Cookies

Quick Browser Settings

Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Cookies → "Block third-party cookies" This lets essential cookies through, blocks the tracking stuff.

Firefox: Settings → Privacy → "Standard" protection Already blocks most tracking by default.

Safari: Settings → Privacy → "Prevent cross-site tracking" Apple blocks a lot automatically.

Edge: Settings → Cookies → "Block third-party cookies" Same as Chrome basically.

Warning: If you block ALL cookies, you can't sign in. The site needs those essential ones.

Alternative: Just Sign Out

When you're done using Domer, sign out. That clears your session cookies.

What Happens if You Block Everything

Block essential cookies:

• Can't sign in
• Can't use your credits
• Can't generate anything
• Settings won't save

Block just analytics:

• Everything works fine
• You can still create, buy credits, download results
• We just won't know you visited (which is totally your right)

Stripe - Payment processing Their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy

AI Providers - Image/video generation They process your images but don't set any cookies

Your Privacy Matters

• Images get deleted from our servers after 30 days
• We only collect what we actually need
• We don't sell data to anyone (we're not that kind of business)
• GDPR/CCPA compliant

When Stuff Changes

If we change this cookie policy, we'll update the date at the top and post it here. Check back occasionally if you care about this stuff.

Total: About 5-7 cookies max. Most are essential.

Bottom line: Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics helps us improve it. You can block analytics without any problems.
