How to Use Motion Control

Upload Your Character Image
PNG or JPG, minimum 512x512 pixels. Character should show head, shoulders, and torso clearly. Front-facing or slight angle works best. Illustrations, photos, 3D renders all work—just make sure the body is fully visible.
Upload Your Motion Reference Video
MP4, MOV, or MKV up to 10MB. 3-30 seconds of someone performing the action you want. Best results: single person, clear movement, steady camera. Avoid quick cuts, shaky footage, or multiple people fighting for attention.
Match Your Framing
Half-body image? Use a half-body reference video. Full-body image? Full-body video. Mismatched framing confuses the AI and creates weird cutoffs or floating body parts. This matters more than you'd think.
Describe the Scene (Optional)
Motion comes from the video, but you can still control the background and environment with your prompt. Want your character on a stage instead of a blank background? Add that in the prompt. The AI handles scenery separately from movement.

Getting Better Results
What actually works after testing 50+ generations
Match Body Framing Exactly
Half-body image needs half-body video. Full-body image needs full-body video. Using a full-body dance video with a headshot image creates floating torsos and broken motion. Keep the framing consistent between your two inputs.
Give Large Motions Room to Move
If your reference video shows big arm gestures or full-body movement, your character image needs space around them. Tight crops or edge-touching body parts restrict motion and cause weird clipping. Leave some breathing room in the frame.
Use Clear, Moderate-Speed Actions
Super fast movements or rapid position changes confuse the motion tracking. Moderate speed with smooth, continuous actions works best. If your reference video looks blurry because someone's moving too fast, it probably won't transfer well.
Single-Character Videos Work Best
Multiple people in frame? AI picks whoever takes up the most space. Usually that's fine, but sometimes it grabs the wrong person mid-video. Safest bet: one clear subject doing the action you want.
Avoid Camera Cuts and Fast Pans
Motion control needs to track body position across frames. Sudden camera cuts or whip pans break that tracking. Use clips with steady camera work—slow pans and zooms are okay, but keep it smooth.
